Аннотация:
Ассоциация STM – это одна из ведущих профессиональных ассоциаций, которая объединяет научных издателей всего мира. Членами ассоциации являются 120 представителей издательской индустрии из 21 страны, которые каждый год публикуют приблизительно 66% от общего мирового числа научных статей и десятки тысяч монографий и справочных изданий.

Ежегодно на сайте ассоциации публикуется STM Report – доклад, в котором содержится всесторонняя информация о состоянии индустрии. В нем отражены сведения о количестве существующих в мире журналов и издательств; объеме рынка; мировых отраслевых трендах; различных каналах распространения; существующих моделях рецензирования; поведении авторов и читателей; публикационной этике. Отдельный раздел посвящен открытому доступу: типам и моделям Open Access (OA) журналов, ОА-монографиям; различным аспектам публичного доступа к результатам исследований; архивированию. В докладе представлена также и информация о новых разработках и инновациях, в числе которых мобильные приложения; социальные сети; большие данные; Library Publishing2; сервисы и инструменты для авторов; инструменты для совместной работы.
