Abstract:
This article is dedicated to the practical peculiarities of eco-hotels functioning. The author substantiates the relevance of the development of the ecological direction in the hospitality industry. Using specific examples, the author analyzes hotels of this type that function in Russia and abroad and identifies their specific features. The author presents classification of eco-hotels according to different features: location, presence of eco-certificates, used eco-technologies, catering concepts etc.
