Abstract:
Purpose: to substantiate the mechanism of imbalance of the economic system that worsens its security, and to identify ways to overcome them. Materials and methods: during the research methods of comparative analysis, correlation, decomposition and economic analysis were applied. Analytical and evidentiary base of the research was made by materials of international comparisons, as well as regulatory legal documents regulating economic security in the Russian Federation. results: This article explores the mechanisms of the imbalance of the economic system that worsen its security, identifies ways to overcome them. The concepts of the imbalance of the economic system are defined, the problems of the imbalance of the global economic system and the Russian economy are examined, the approaches to the definition of economic security are reviewed, and the goals of ensuring effective management of the security system are given. conclusions: the results of the research testify to the existence of necessary and sufficient conditions for the formation of national economic security based on the effective use of the internal potential of the Russian economy.
